My Most Beloved Bible Verse – “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”  Philippians 4:13

I am uniquely me because I am patient and have an optimistic attitude.  I instill this outlook on my students as I help them realize they can accomplish anything the set their minds to.  I have a passion for teaching and a desire to make a positive impact in the lives of students.  I love children and love to see the transformation that takes place as they learn new skills, new ideas and new perspectives.  It is my responsibility to view each child as an individual and teach them to be successful and life long learners.

My Goals for My Class:

  • Each student will know that they are a special gift from God.
  • Each child will feel unique and loved.
  • Everyone in the class will be kind and treat each other with respect.
  • All of my students will receive the academic knowledge they need to learn and flourish.

Highlights of Learning in 1st Grade:  I am excited to watch the students in first grade grow as they learn to strengthen their skills in adding and subtracting large numbers, build their vocabulary, and identify details in stories.  It is my hope that each child leaves my class as a motivated, kind, confident and Christ-centered individual who loves learning and makes the world a better place.
